November 22, 2022, Montreal, Quebec – Dreww is proud to announce a $20,000 CAD donation to Fondation Collège Bourget’s Major Fundraising Campaign, which aims to raise $3 million to improve the school’s educational offering and student experience.
The campaign will support several important projects, including the construction of new outdoor spaces for students and the improvement of the school’s sports and cultural facilities. These investments will help strengthen the environment that makes Collège Bourget a unique place for students to learn, grow, and develop.
For Dreww, the donation also carries personal meaning. Three members of the agency’s team, Andrew Johnson, Julien Hudon, and Elizabeth Lafontaine, are graduates of Collège Bourget. Andrew graduated in 2010, Elizabeth graduated in 2012, and Julien graduated in 2013.
“My experience at Collège Bourget was fundamental in my development as a young adult and as an entrepreneur. The school’s special programs allowed me to explore my interests in business, media, and technology while I was still in high school. When I was asked to contribute to the fundraising campaign by producing a series of videos, I was honoured and couldn’t refuse,” says Andrew Johnson, Founder and President at Dreww.
“Collège Bourget was a pillar in my growth, both personally and professionally. The school prepares students far beyond the classroom by investing time, effort, and energy into activities, programs, and subjects that matter for their future. Its mission to pursue excellence and be a leader in the high school landscape made it an easy decision for a former student-athlete like me to give back, as many did before us. I am honoured to be part of this mission and invite others to contribute as well,” says Julien Hudon, Chief Administrative Officer at Dreww.
In addition to the donation, Dreww produced a series of four videos to support the foundation’s communication efforts around the fundraising campaign. The first video, narrated by Philippe Bertrand, Headmaster of Collège Bourget, explains how the funds raised will be used to improve the student experience. The three other videos feature testimonials from graduates, each sharing a unique story about how Collège Bourget helped shape their path.
