Burning a car with the Blood Brothers

We spent the day in Hudson, Quebec, shooting a commercial for Desmeules Jeep featuring Alex Lapointe. In the 4th episode, Alex is late for work because his car caught fire on the side of the road.

In order to bring this scene to life, we teamed up with the Blood Brothers FX team. These guys are the best of the best when it comes to blowing things up and lighting things on fire for films and commercials.

It was Dreww’s first time working with real fire on set, and we could not be happier with how things went down with the Blood Brothers team. Stay tuned as we will be releasing a video Breakdown on how they made this FX fire scene happen safely and under municipal regulations.

The Desmeules series will be released in February. We will post more updates as the project progresses.
