ProteinCo generated $84K in Meta revenue on its own store in three months

About 75% of ProteinCo’s online sales came through Amazon. The team wanted to grow its own Shopify store, where margins are higher, and bring its new endurance line (Hydractiv and ActivCarbs) to new customers.

ProteinCo had no Meta Ads account, so there was no paid social to build on. We started from zero.

We built the Meta Ads account from scratch in June, starting with customer research and a messaging framework: angles, proof points and formats.

The offer. New customers who found ProteinCo through the endurance products tended to buy several items at once, so we built the offer around that: an Endurance Duo and a Premium Trio bundle, with a free bottle in the Trio. The bundles gave shoppers a simple reason to buy more than one product, and the Trio became the fastest-growing endurance product.

The creative. Videos of Dano, ProteinCo’s ambassador, talking face to camera consistently beat polished brand creative because they felt credible to runners and cyclists. Static ads featuring the bundles then converted the people Dano brought in.

At the end of July, we moved budget from Google Ads to Meta, where the new customers were coming from.

$84K in Meta-attributed revenue from June to August 2026, all on ProteinCo’s own Shopify store rather than Amazon, from an ad account that didn’t exist before.

July was the standout month: $34.7K in revenue on $6.7K in ad spend, a 5.1x ROAS. In August, revenue held at $35K with 174 purchases, and endurance products sold rose from 165 to 210, led by the Trio bundle.

The best ad was Dano’s video, at 5.4x ROAS on $3.3K in spend.

I only have positive things to say. The content is a 10/10, and I’m grateful for all the work the team puts in.
