Dreww donates $20,000 to La Fondation Collège Bourget

November 22nd, 2022, Montreal, QuebecDreww is proud to announce that it has made a sizeable donation of $20,000 CAD to La Fondation Collège Bourget’s Campagne Majeure de Financement. The objective of this campaign is to raise $3 million to improve the school’s educational offer, most notably through the construction of new outdoor areas for the students and the improvement of its sports and cultural facilities. The completion of these projects will contribute to what makes Collège Bourget such a unique establishment for students.

Two members of Dreww’s management team, Andrew Johnson and Julien Hudon are graduates of Collège Bourget. Andrew graduated in 2010, while Julien graduated in 2013.  

My experience at Collège Bourget was fundamental in my development as a young adult and as an entrepreneur. The various special programs they offer are what allowed me to explore my interest in business, media, and technology while I was in high school. When I was asked to contribute to their fundraising campaign by producing a series of videos I was honoured and couldn’t refuse.”

Collège Bourget was a pillar for my growth as a successful man, both individually and professionally. This school prepares students far beyond the classroom curriculum and puts forth consistent and prolonged time, effort, and hard work into after-school activities, classes, and subjects that matter for the future the students will encounter. This mission to pursue excellence to be the leading innovator in the high school landscape only made sense for a former student-athlete like me to pay it forward as many did before us. With continued support, it will ultimately benefit lives – both in the community and around the world – for years to come. With that being said, I am honoured to be part of this mission and invite you all to give as well.

In conjunction with the donation, Dreww produced a series of 4 videos which will help the foundation’s communication efforts surrounding the fundraising campaign. The 1st video is narrated by Philippe Bertrand, the school’s headmaster, and explains how the funds raised will be deployed to improve the student’s educational experience. The 3 other videos are testimonials from graduates who all have unique stories to tell about how the school helped them thrive. 

Our collaboration with Dreww was an exceptional experience. As a non-profit organization, we were able to benefit from their expertise throughout the creative process and the result is beyond our expectations. Their generosity is greatly appreciated both as a donor to our foundation and also in their commitment to the success of our students. Andrew and his team have done a wonderful job!
